Account Manager

Seeking PR industry leaders with 5 to 8 years of PR agency experience to join our highly intelligent, motivated team of senior-level communication strategists. We are looking for individuals who take pride in achieving outstanding publicity and in creating PR plans to meet the objectives of our worthy clients, and who possess experience with top tier and who have established relationships with key trade media as well as industry experience in one or more of Scott Public Relation's specialties - healthcare public relations, insurance public relations, and technology public relations.

The Account Manager reports to the CEO and is responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and account teams. Responsibilities include managing major accounts and/or teams and serving as the leader and strategic adviser. He or she must be able to manage programs and accounts independently and effectively with minimal top cover from the CEO. Also responsible for applying network-wide resources, providing excellent client service, developing the staff assigned to the accounts and managing the business in a profitable, growing manner. The AM is also an agency leader, with the ability and expectation to deliver on the agency’s vision, performance requirements, and growth projections.

A BA degree in PR, Journalism, Communications or a related major is required (a Masters degree is preferred).
